Democracy First was created to provide the public with a non-partisan resource for timely updates on policy changes being made in Washington D.C. that endanger our freedoms, our rights & our safety.

This site is called Democracy First because without a republic built on a solid democratic foundation, the public has no power to shape policy on anything:

• food, drug & aviation safety
• civil rights
• climate change
• education
• elimination of the postal service
• withdrawal from the World Health Organization
• funding cuts & bans on publicly funded research and medical care
